Traction tire pioneered ‘on demand’ delivery of tires long before there were companies like Amazon, Uber, or Doordash providing fast delivery to customers.
As a delivery driver at Traction, you are responsible for maintaining our service promise which to this day remains “Call Traction for Fast Action”.
You work closely with the dispatch team to ensure deliveries are on time.
You will also interact with our customers regularly to accept payment, remind them of our latest promotions, and report any feedback to our sales team.
I started at Traction in 2016 as a part-time driver and worked hard, rising to a full time driver, then Assistant Warehouse Manager, then Warehouse Manager, and now to Shift Manager.
I love the family environment at Traction. Everyone is fun and friendly and that hasn’t changed since the day I started here.
The warehouse is a great place to work at Traction if you are a team player.
As one member of our warehouse team described it, working in the warehouse is “like getting paid to go to the gym”. Indeed, working in the warehouse is a physically demanding position, with tires arriving and leaving constantly throughout the day.
It is also the place where many of our employees learned to understand the tire business, and the ever increasing number of tire brands and sizes we carry.
I joined Traction Tire in 1985 as a Warehouse Associate. Then I became a delivery driver, then went into Logistics, next Sales and am now working in Dispatch
There is a lot of opportunity at Traction Tire if you work hard and learn everything you can. I started from the bottom and have had a very rewarding career. Traction feels like home and a family.
